Casino Royale was the big reboot of the series, to give James Bond a more serious tone. Daniel Craig came equipped with the latest Aston Martin DBS V12, but the gadgets were minimal and realistic. There were two hidden trays housing a defibrillator and a silenced Walther PPK, contrasting the ridiculous gadgets of the prior film. Casino Royale was the 4th highest-grossing film of 2006, and was the highest-grossing installment of the James Bond series until Skyfall surpassed it in November 2012. James Bond Casino Royale Jaguar

Ok - perhaps I'm the only one that did not know this but watched the Casino Royale Bond film the other evening and was pleasantly surprised to see the X350 featured as a Bond car - or rather as the villain's chosen form of transport.
Big, black 4.2 , 2006 model I think (same as mine).
I went deeper by googling its association with the film and there are a number of sites providing information. In particular was of interest to see just how many X350's were shown in the film. Mainly as the villain's car but also quite a few models lurking in car park scenes, or outside the front of rather 'posh' hotels. Clearly Jaguar had quite a deal with the film maker but I'm not sure this expensive advertising did much for the models sales or popularity.
